Hello, my name is Harriet, I am an Advanced certified yoga teacher, training with the Jivamukti school in 2013.

I have been teaching yoga since 2014, mostly in London, and I first discovered yoga whilst training in dance, finding that the practice brought me a sense of clarity and calm.

I teach a grounding physical practice, aided by hands-on assists, using uplifting music and creative sequences.

I hope to provide a calm environment, creating a sense of stability, but also the invitation to explore.

The name Jivamukti comes from two sanskrit words; Jiva meaning individual soul and mukti meaning liberation.

Founded in New York in 1984 by Sharon Gannon and David Life, Jivamukti Yoga is a dynamic physical practice that integrates yoga postures, breath work, music, relaxation and meditation. The method emphasises the original sanskrit word 'asana' as seat, connection to the Earth.

"The name Jivamukti Yoga reflects the fact that it is possible to have a beneficial and fulfilling life in the world, and also progress spiritually-perhaps even attaining liberation (Samadhi) while living.”

– Sharon Gannon and David Life
